Artist in Residence Opportunity

Marlborough College is looking for an Artist in Residence for the next Academic Year, the application deadline is 2 March for details go to Artist in Residence

Marlborough is a co ed boarding school located in Wiltshire, 80 miles outside of London. Founded in 1843, the college occupies 200 acres of historic downland, it was built around the former mansion-house of the Dukes of Somerset and around the Marlborough Mound, originally the site of a Norman castle .

Antonia Bruce












"Infinitas Gracias"is an exhibition at the Wellcome Collection of Mexican votive paintings curated by alumnus Antonia Bruce. There will be a free talk about the exhibition on Wed 22 February at 6pm, by Dr Alfonso Alfaro, Chief Editor of Artes de Mexico Journal followed by an in conversation with Antonia Bruce.

The exhibition ends on the 26 February, so please go along to see it while you still can!


The talk will take place in the Burroughs Room, Wellcome Collection, 183 Euston Road, NW1 2BE.

Winner of the Denis Mahon Award



Tom Sander has been selected as this year's recipient of the Denis Mahon Award. The selection panel was made up of Charles Saumarez Smith, Xavier Bray, Duncan Robinson and Catherine Goodman.
