The Jerwood Painting Fellowship is an open submission opportunity for artists in the first five years of their professional practice. Three outstanding painters will be awarded a bursary of £10,000 and one year of critical and professional development support from mentors.

The Prince of Wales Bursary 2012
This Bursary aims to give artists an opportunity to develop and enhance their work by spending time in Greece.

First awarded in 2003, the Arts Bursary of £2,500, named to honour the British School at Athens” Patron, HRH The Prince of Wales.

Sir Denis Mahon Award
This prestigious award was created in 2010 to celebrate the 100th birthday of Sir Denis Mahon. The winning graduate will be awarded a bursary of £5,000 and a free studio space for one year.
Sir Denis was a scholar, connoisseur and collector who assembled the finest private collection of 17th Century Italian paintings in the world, including several Carravaggios. A life-long supporter of free entry to museums and galleries, many of Sir Denis's paintings hang in the National Gallery.
For details about how to apply please go to the Sir Denis Mahon page above. All alumni who graduated from the 1st or 2nd year of the Drawing Year in 2010 or 2011 can apply, unfortunately the award is not open to applications from current 2nd Year students or graduates from previous years.
