Jessie Makinson (Drawing
Year 2012), Kathryn Maple (Drawing Year 2013), Anthony
Banks (Drawing Year 2011) and Oliver Mulvihill (Drawing Year 2015)
have been selected for the Marmite Prize for Painting exhibition. About the prize, Marcus Harvey has said ‘How lovely to see
painters creating an engaging, inclusive painting competition free of the twin
diseases of contemporary art, fashion and political correctness’. The exhibition will take place in London in June and July 2016 and
subsequently will tour to Highlanes Gallery in Ireland in July/September
